Nagpur Zilla Suraksha Rakshak Mandal has officially released a recruitment notification (Adv. No. DGIPR-2026-27/क्र.5/C-481) for the creation of a pool of 319 Security Guards (Suraksha Rakshak) for deployment across Nagpur, Wardha, Gondia, and Bhandara districts of Maharashtra. This recruitment is conducted under the Maharashtra Private Security Guards (Regulation of Employment & Welfare) Act, 1981. Applications are invited from eligible male and female Maharashtra domicile holders who are minimum 12th pass and between 18 to 34 years of age. Apply online at www.sgbregistration.in from 29 April 2026 to 26 May 2026.
Physical Standards Warning
Candidates failing to meet minimum height, weight, or chest requirements will be disqualified at screening stage. A minimum of 50% marks (50 out of 100) in the field test is mandatory for merit consideration.
Medical & Document Deadline Alert
Candidates with Night Blindness, Colour Blindness, or any physical disability will be disqualified. Medical fitness certificate from Government Hospital and Police Verification must be submitted within 45 days of selection.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- 12th Pass (HSC) mandatory
- Maharashtra State Domicile Certificate required
- Indian Nationality
- Must meet physical standards — Height, Weight, Chest
- Must not have Night Blindness or Colour Blindness
- Must not have any physical disability
Age Limit
Age limit as per notification:
- Minimum 18 years, Maximum 34 years (General)
- Compassionate Appointment (Spouse of deceased guard): Maximum 40 years
- Compassionate Appointment (Son/Daughter of deceased guard): Maximum 45 years
- Affected/Displaced Guards: Maximum 45 years
- Ex-Servicemen & Ex-Firefighters: Age bar not applicable
