Candidates must hold a graduation degree and be proficient in the local language of the applied state. The application process is open until 31 August 2026, with preliminary exams tentatively scheduled for September 2026.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.
Final-year students may apply provisionally.
Proficiency in the local language of the applied State/UT is mandatory.
Not eligible: Current SBI clerical staff, those who resigned from SBI clerical cadre, or those with adverse character reports.

Age Limit

As on 01.04.2026:

Minimum 20 years, Maximum 28 years (born between 02.04.1998 and 01.04.2006).
OBC: +3 years
SC/ST: +5 years
PwBD: +10 to +15 years depending on category.
Ex-Servicemen: Service rendered + 3 years (max 50 years).
