National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) invites online applications for 85 posts of Deputy Manager (Technical). Candidates need a Degree in Civil Engineering and a valid GATE (Civil Engineering) score from 2024, 2025, or 2026. The last date to apply for these positions is 08 June 2026.
Important Instructions for Candidates

PwBD Categories and Functional Requirements
- PwBD reservation is limited to the following disabilities:
- Category (b): Deaf (D) / Hard of Hearing (HH)
- Category (c): One Arm (OA) / One Leg (OL), Leprosy Cured (LC), Dwarfism (Dw), Acid Attack Victims (AAV)
- Functional requirements for PwBD Categories include: Sitting (S), Standing (ST), Walking (W), Bending (BN), Jumping (J), Climbing (CL), Manipulation by Fingers (MF), Reading & Writing (RW), Seeing (SE), Communication (C).
Service Bond Requirement
Selected candidates must furnish a Non-transferable Service Bond for ₹5 Lakhs, valid for two years, on a Non-Judicial stamp paper of ₹100 before joining. The format will be provided by the Company.
Background Verification and GATE Score Verification
All appointments are subject to successful completion of a background verification process (BGV), which may include verification of identity, address, qualifications, GATE score, and character. If BGV is unsatisfactory, the offer of employment may be withdrawn. For GATE Score Card verification, candidates must keep their login credentials (Enrolment ID, email ID, password, mobile number) ready to fetch the Score Card from the official IIT/IISc website during document verification.

Eligibility
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Degree in Civil Engineering from any recognized University/Institute. They must have qualified the GATE (Civil Engineering) examination in any of the years 2024, 2025, or 2026 and possess a valid GATE score. Applicants must be Indian Citizens or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan. Valid protected/reserved category certificates are required for availing reservation benefits.
Age Limit
- The upper age limit is 34 years as on the closing date of application (08 June 2026). Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (NCL): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) from SC/ST: 15 years
- PwBD from OBC (NCL): 13 years
- PwBD from UR/EWS: 10 years
- Ex-servicemen: 5 years (for those who rendered at least five years of military service and were released under specific conditions; discharge certificate required).
