Eligibility
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Indian Citizenship and Maharashtra Domicile (15 years) or born in Maharashtra.
- Inspector: Degree from a recognized university.
- Accountant: Commerce degree from a statutory university + 3 years of accounts experience.
- Stenographer: Degree from a recognized university + English/Marathi shorthand (80 wpm) and typing (English 40 wpm, Marathi 30 wpm).
- Mandatory knowledge of Marathi language (read, write, speak).
Age Limit
Age as of 11 June 2026:
- General/Open: 18 to 38 years.
- Backward Class/Orphan/Ex-SM: 18 to 43 years.
- Divyang/Project-affected/Earthquake-affected: Up to 45 years.
- Part-time retrenched employees: Up to 55 years.
- Age relaxation for specific categories as per government rules.
