The Indian Navy invites applications for Agniveer Apprentice (01/2027 & 02/2027) batches for unmarried Indian male candidates. Applicants must hold a 10th-grade certificate and a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering or Electrical streams with at least 50% marks. The application window is open from 05 Jun 2026 to 29 Jun 2026.
Important Warning
Marriage during the 4-year tenure will lead to dismissal. Candidates must submit an unmarried certificate at the time of enrolment.

Agniveer Apprentice Streams

- *Minimum 50% marks required in both 10th and Diploma.
- *Up to 25% of each batch may be offered permanent enrolment as Artificers.
Eligibility
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Unmarried Indian male citizens only.
- Matriculation (10th) with minimum 50% marks.
- 3-year AICTE-recognized Polytechnic Diploma with 50% marks in relevant Engineering or Electrical streams.
Age Limit
Age criteria based on batch:
- Batch 01/2027: Born between 01 Dec 2004 – 31 May 2009
- Batch 02/2027: Born between 01 May 2005 – 31 Oct 2009
