Eligibility
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following educational and experience criteria:
- Full-time regular Diploma in Engineering approved by AICTE.
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks for GEN/EWS/OBC(NCL); 50% for SC/ST/PwBD.
- Minimum 1 year relevant post-qualification experience or 1-year apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961.
- Higher qualifications like BE/BTech/AMIE are not eligible.
- Experience reckoned as of 01.07.2026.
Age Limit
Age as on 01.07.2026:
- General/EWS: 18-25 years
- OBC (NCL): +3 years relaxation
- SC/ST: +5 years relaxation
- PwBD: +10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST-PwBD)
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government rules
